Blueberry gallons in abundance! Blackberries picking super fast in gallons. Raspberries picking up with all this rain!
* note: we do predict an earlier than normal season close~mid Aug. the weather gave us a fun, early start to the season, but it is forcing an earlier than normal closing as well. enjoy the berries while they are here!!
**Knock on wood, the everyday rain pattern we are in seems to be lifting, and Saturday looks to be partly sunny! Won’t that feel glorious?! That’s the day of our Annual Blueberry Pie Contest to benefit Micah’s Backpack; the sun should be shining just as judging wraps up and Pie winners for Adult, JR (13 & under) & GF sections are announced!! Then we all get to donate some cash and taste amazingly hand-crafted 100% homemade Blueberry Pies!! Can’t thank Chef Michael Arrington enough for doing this each year and Sharon Kyanka chef/owner of Sweet Rebellion for joining this year as the Gluten Free Judge! PIE BAKERS-Pies in by 9am and judging begins at 9:15. PIE EATERS: tasting/donating will be underway by 9:45, we hope. Prizes supplied by lots of local businesses-so grateful! We bet all pie tastings will be gone by 10:15ish. Visit the ‘stations’ during pie judging (Bee Guy Tommy’s demo hive, Blueberry Stamp/Sticker, Blueberry Bake off Bake sale-bring extra $1’s for these stations) or go pick berries!!! 100% of proceeds go to Micah’s. Bring a blanket to sit on if you like! We are open for berry picking 8am-noon.**

NOTICE: NO DOGS ON FARM! Parking is ample, Porta Potty is ADA accessible, & blueberries (usually) near parking for those with mobility differences. Closed Toe Shoes (!) since its a working farm. Every crop ripening is weather & bird dependent-we control what we can! We are PESTICIDE FREE.
CONTAINERS: Berry pick in our sanitized vented buckets OR your vented bucket from last year. Take berries home in your own containers/bags, use our take home bags if needed OR buy the bucket for $1.75 to take berries home and re-use every time you pick!

- Blueberries, our MAIN crop pick ALL summer long usually, Blackberries pick for a month most of July usually, and Raspberries (red, gold) pick late July until season close ~late Aug/Early Sept. *Read crop specifics in our ‘ABOUT’ Link. Blackberries & Raspberries (cane berries) are always an easier pick the first 1.5 hrs of picking shift or after a day we are closed.
